“The containers are currently for sale at Owens Food Court at the registers for $3.50 cash and $7 Flex Dollars (Dining Plan). Participants are given marketing materials within the containers that specify where they are used. As a rule of thumb, the containers are not to be used where self-serving utensils are used, rather the user is to take food “for here” and slide food into the container. This allows for a food safe alternative for to-go, without the logistical implications of an institutionalized larger program.
Participants and buyers of the containers are asked to fill out a survey after using the containers for a period of time. The survey can be found here.”
