The endowment fund will pool tax deductible financial contributions to support preservation, conservation, education, and research to ensure permanent protection of the precious campus and community old-growth forest. Last year, more than 11,000 people united locally, regionally and nationally to Save Stadium Woods from proposed development. We must again work as a team to permanently preserve the woods from any future threats. The Stadium Woods Endowment Fund lays the groundwork for conservation and continuing appreciation for the rare 11 acre predominately white oak, uneven aged old-growth stand nestled between Blacksburg and VA Tech.

We want to thank our dedicated volunteers as well as our corporate and individual sponsors of the Benefit Concert including Red Hill General Store (selling local items like your garden seeder, bulk beans, bulk floweroil lanterns, glass milk bottles, and solo sprayers),  Back Country Ski and Sport, Vintage Cellar, The Chris Thompson Family Endowment of the Community Foundation of the NRV, Cary Hopper, Kara Dodson, Carl Absher, Jeff and Judy Kirwan, and other anonymous donors. Silent Auction donors include Walt Hewes, Miller Off Main Framing, Art and Antiques, Robert Smith Jeweler, Jeff Kirwan, Carl Absher, Rebekah Paulson, Lynn Brammer, and other pending sponsors and donors.
